About Us

Sandra Norby, PT has been a physical therapist since 1989, when she graduated from the University of Iowa with her Master's in Physical Therapy. Sandy has also been a certified athletic trainer for many years. She worked with the Iowa Hawkeyes during her training. Sandy has a varied and extensive background in physical therapy. Her primary focus is orthopedics including sports, work injuries, and total joints. She also has experience in neurological rehab for strokes and balance problems. Sandy has a strong personal commitment for the physical health and wellness for the people of Plymouth County.

In July 2005, Sandy Norby, PT, successfully completed training to become a Certified Office Ergonomist through the Ergonomic Center at North Carolina University.

Sandy has also completed training with Atlas Ergonomics. Atlas has developed an unique marking system for the seated employee (Office and trucking). Implementation of this system has saved companies millions of dollars in Workman's Compensation costs.

Sandy most recently was the Director of Rehab for the Center of Neurosciences, Orthopedics and Spine in Dakota Dunes, SD. She is well-known in the Siouxland medical community.

Sandy is involved in the American Physical Therapy Association, serving on the Reimbursement Committeess of both the Iowa PT Association and the Private Practice Section. She is a Sertoman and active in her church.

Sandy's husband Kim Norby, is an intregral part of the business. She has three sons and two step-daughters.
